This sensory-informed interior design project showcases Anita’s ability to improve home environments for both aesthetic appeal and functional sensory modulation. For the McGloin home, she reworked the guest bathroom and guest bedroom to feel calmer, more comfortable, and more intuitive to use, blending materials, lighting, and layout choices that support ease of movement and restorative rest.
Anita also transformed a partially finished basement open space into a dual-purpose remote work and guest sleeping area. The updates focused on visual organization, noise and light management, and flexible furniture arrangements, creating a space that can shift between focused productivity and restorative downtime without sensory overload. Before-and-after views of the guest bathroom, guest bedroom, and basement highlight how small, thoughtful design interventions can dramatically change how a space feels and functions.
