This is a time-limited, one-time role. Candidates can be students, seniors, or healthcare professionals seeking hands-on experience. All caregivers are trained and supervised by a licensed occupational therapy practitioner.
Shifts: 12-hour blocks, 4 days/week (Evening + Overnight)
Housing: Private lower-level quarters with garage access
Focus: ADLs/IADLs, mobility, bedtime routines, household safety, companionship
Shifts: 4 days/week, 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Focus: Meals, medication, toileting, mobility, light household tasks, calm engagement
Shifts: 4 days/week, 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Focus: Nighttime supervision, safe toileting, mobility support, peaceful environment
Tech: Use of Blink and Alexa for monitoring
Tip: Candidates may apply for one or multiple shift types.
Support ADLs/IADLs and safe mobility
Provide companionship and engagement
Maintain household safety and calm routines
Observe and report changes to supervising OT
Use supportive technology for overnight safety monitoring
Healthcare students (OT, PT, nursing, public health, gerontology)
Senior caregivers or healthcare professionals
Certified healthcare professionals or those pursuing certification/licensure
Patience, empathy, calm communication, and reliability
Prior experience helpful but not required — training provided
Hands-on, meaningful caregiving experience
Predictable 4-day workweek schedule
Private housing for live-in roles
Mentorship from a licensed OT practitioner
Practical skills in dementia care, ADLs, and household support
Quiet, supportive residential environment with private beach access
